That is why we have carefully selected our practitioners and their models of therapy to provide complimentary approaches for mind and body wellbeing. All of our practitioners are fully insured and members of professional bodies. Dr Matthew Pugh, BSc DClinPsy PGDip CPsychol AFBPsS
Matthew is a Senior Clinical Psychologist, Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, and Advanced Schema Therapist. He has over 10 years' experience working within both NHS and private settings.
Matthew is experienced in providing specialised and evidence-based talking therapies for a range of emotional difficulties including anxiety, depression, eating disorders (bulimia nervosa, binge-eating, emotional eating), negative body image, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties and childhood trauma. He offers an individualised and tailor-made approach to treatment which is guided by best practice guidelines and the latest developments in psychotherapy research. Above all, Matthew believes that a safe, collaborative, and trusting relationship should form the cornerstone of any treatment.
Alongside his clinical work, Matthew is an active clinical researcher and honorary lecturer with University College London. He has published a number of research papers and regularly presents at international conferences.
Matthew is accredited by the BPS, HCPC, and BABCP. In addition, he is a recognised provider with most healthcare insurers including Bupa, AXA, Aviva, and other groups.
Karen Courtney, DipCHyp NLP HPD
Cognitive Hypnotherapy is fast, effective and tailor made to each individual’s story. Karen works with clients to give them the tools they need to live the best versions of their lives, equipping them to deal with all the challenges that life inevitably brings.
Karen’s background is in Business and she chose a change in career after Cognitive Hypnotherapy helped her navigate through a series of challenges - bereavement, serious illness, family/teenage issues, divorce.
She says: “We all have the capabilities within us to solve our own problems or issues but sometimes we just need help to point us towards where to go to find these resources.”
Karen works with clients, especially teenagers and young adults, who have struggled with anxiety, depression and eating disorders amongst many other things.

Nicola is an experienced BPS accredited Chartered psychologist with over 20 years experience. In addition, Nicola works extensively with multinational companies facilitating applied psychology and enjoys lecturing locally at Brunel University. She applies different therapeutic techniques to help individuals and couples with their life’s challenges, such as:
Anxiety and panic disorders, (including OCD and PTSD)
And all life changes.

Christina Colligan, DipCNM, mBANT, mANP, mCNHC
Christina is a Nutritional Therapist with a passion for Functional Medicine.
Nutritional therapy is a preventative, holistic, and individualised approach to health care, which aims to support quality of life. Each person is unique, each body is a holistic system.
Christina will support you feeling the best you can, to detect things that are out of balance and making the changes you need to thrive and being the best version of yourself.
She strongly believes in a preventative, holistic and functional approach to health and nutrition. Looking at a person as whole, integrating mind and body and addressing imbalances in areas as necessary.
Christina is committed to lifelong learning and regularly attend seminars and trainings on a variety of topics as part of her continuous learning plan.
